Tech Leaders Join Forces to Drive Cyber Resilience and Data Protection for the Multi-Cloud Era in the Middle East.
Commvault has announced an expanded local partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) at GITEX Global 2025. The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at accelerating the joint development of data protection, backup, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience solutions across the Middle East region.
Strengthening Cyber Resilience Amid Rising AI and Cloud Adoption
As organizations across the Middle East rapidly embrace AI technologies, multi-cloud infrastructures, and data-driven transformation, the need for stronger cyber resilience and data security frameworks has become more urgent than ever.
This partnership between Commvault and HPE underscores a shared commitment to protect enterprise data against escalating cyber threats, ransomware attacks, and operational disruptions. Building on their global strategic alliance announced in June 2025, the two companies are expanding their collaboration to deliver end-to-end cyber resilience solutions that ensure business continuity and compliance in the digital-first economy.
Integrated Data Protection for the Modern Enterprise
Under the new MoU, Commvault and HPE will explore joint go-to-market initiatives and technical collaborations designed to help enterprises strengthen their data backup and recovery strategies. The collaboration will integrate HPE GreenLake Cloud Platform, HPE Alletra Storage MP, HPE StoreOnce, and HPE Zerto Software for unified data resilience.
Havier Haddad, Channel & Distribution Lead, EMEA Emerging Markets at Commvault, said, “We’re thrilled to expand our partnership with such a reputable organization in the region. Through Commvault’s industry-leading cyber resilience solutions and HPE’s robust infrastructure, we’re enabling enterprises to secure their data, prevent downtime, and achieve continuous business operations in today’s evolving cyber landscape.”
Yacob Ahli, Commercial Director for UAE at HPE, added, “This MoU further deepens our collaboration with Commvault and reinforces our mutual goal to solve the most complex data protection challenges. As the Middle East moves toward a data-driven economy — guided by initiatives like UAE Vision 2031 — organizations need secure, scalable, and future-ready technology foundations. Together, HPE and Commvault empower businesses to face the future confidently with unmatched cyber resilience.”
With Commvault’s Intelligent Data Protection and Cyber Resilience Platform, this integrated approach will empower enterprises to simplify multi-cloud data management, enhance ransomware protection, and achieve regulatory compliance while ensuring faster recovery in case of data breaches.
Through this collaboration, Commvault and HPE will deliver AI-powered data protection and cyber resilience solutions, combining threat intelligence, encryption, and automated recovery. The partnership will also drive joint market initiatives, training programs, and awareness campaigns to help enterprises build secure, compliant, and resilient digital infrastructures.
