Together, the companies will deliver next-generation infrastructure optimized for large-scale AI training, research, and enterprise AI applications, all powered by renewable energy.
darya.ai Ltd. and Yotta Data Services have signed a strategic collaboration agreement to develop Tajikistan’s first Green AI Data Center in Darvoz. This milestone partnership will drive Tajikistan’s national AI strategy, positioning the nation as a regional hub for AI innovation, high-performance computing (HPC), and renewable energy–powered data solutions.
A Step Toward a Sustainable AI Future
The new AI compute facility will play a pivotal role in supporting enterprise, public sector, and research innovation across Central Asia. It aligns with the government’s vision to generate 5% of Tajikistan’s GDP from artificial intelligence by 2040.
Fully powered by renewable hydropower, the project highlights Tajikistan’s unique position as a leader in green data centers — leveraging over 60% of Central Asia’s hydropower potential. This ensures long-term scalability, energy efficiency, and sustainable AI operations.
Empowering Enterprises, Startups, and Research Institutions
The Darvoz AI Data Center will offer high-density AI compute services for:
- Enterprises and government agencies deploying advanced AI workloads
- Startups accessing NVIDIA GPU clusters for model training and inference
- Research institutions focusing on machine learning (ML) and deep learning applications
This initiative will also catalyze digital transformation across sectors such as healthcare, finance, energy, and public services, fueling a new wave of AI-driven innovation in the region.
The partnership combines:
- darya.ai’s expertise in sustainable infrastructure and local ecosystem integration
- Yotta Data Services’ proven experience in high-density, cost-efficient hyperscale data centers and sovereign AI cloud platforms
“This collaboration with Yotta represents a key step in realizing Tajikistan’s vision for sovereign, sustainable compute infrastructure. It will expand regional AI capacity and create high-skilled employment opportunities in AI engineering, operations, and research,” said Kristina Zaalishvili, COO of darya.ai.
Sunil Gupta, Co-founder, MD & CEO of Yotta Data Services, added, “AI must be both accessible and sustainable. Our partnership with darya.ai lays the foundation for a future-ready AI hub in Central Asia — enabling enterprises, governments, and innovators to access green, high-performance compute at scale.”
Driving Regional AI Innovation and Connectivity
The Darvoz Green AI Data Center represents the first phase of a multi-stage plan to establish Tajikistan as a strategic bridge between South Asia and Central Asia in the global AI supply chain. Following darya.ai’s earlier milestone — the launch of Tajikistan’s first NVIDIA H200 GPU cluster in June 2025 under the patronage of President Emomali Rahmon — this collaboration solidifies the nation’s commitment to clean technology, AI leadership, and sustainable digital growth.
