Google AI Pro Plan Upgrade: 5TB Storage, Gemini Features & More at No Extra Cost

Google

Google has upgraded its AI Pro plan with expanded storage and new AI-powered features, offering users more value without increasing subscription costs. The update significantly enhances productivity, collaboration, and cloud storage capabilities across Google’s ecosystem.

With this upgrade, the Google AI Pro plan now provides 5TB of cloud storage, up from the previous 2TB, giving users an additional 3TB at no extra cost. This storage can be used across key services such as Google Drive, Google Photos, and Gmail, enabling users to store more data, files, and media securely.

In addition to storage expansion, Google has enhanced AI capabilities across its platform. The integration of Gemini into Google Workspace apps like Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive allows users to access smarter collaboration tools. Gemini can now pull insights from emails, files, and web data to deliver more contextual and intelligent outputs.

The update also introduces advanced features such as AI-powered summaries through AI Overviews, enabling users to extract insights directly from their inbox. Additionally, a new Chrome auto-browse feature can handle complex, multi-step tasks autonomously, improving productivity for users.

Google has also included Google Home premium features in its AI Pro and Ultra plans, extending AI capabilities into smart home environments. However, some features, including Chrome auto-browse and Google Home premium, are currently limited to users in the United States, with global rollout details yet to be confirmed.

In India, the Google AI Pro plan is priced at ₹1,950 per month, while the AI Ultra plan is available at ₹24,500 per month. With these upgrades, Google continues to strengthen its AI subscription offerings, focusing on delivering enhanced storage, smarter tools, and a more integrated AI-driven user experience.
