Nippon Paint India has launched HERizons, a strategic platform aimed at accelerating women’s leadership and building a cross-industry community of changemakers. The initiative was unveiled at an event in New Delhi under the theme “Painting New Possibilities,” bringing together policymakers, business leaders, and women achievers to promote gender inclusion and leadership development.
The event featured a keynote address by Meenakshi Lekhi, former Minister of State for External Affairs, who emphasized the importance of policy support, innovation, and representation in advancing women’s empowerment in India. A major highlight was the unveiling of the mascot for Mission ShakthiSAT, a global initiative focused on increasing women’s participation in space and science, further reinforcing the event’s vision of empowering women across emerging sectors.
HERizons is designed as a multi-dimensional platform that goes beyond recognition to actively enable collaboration, mentorship, and long-term impact. It is built around three key pillars: HERizons Canvas, which promotes creative expression and storytelling; HERizons Voices, a forum for thought leadership and cross-industry dialogue; and HERizons Next, a mentorship-driven initiative focused on nurturing the next generation of women leaders.
The launch also marked the recognition of the first cohort of HERizons Achievers, with the HERizons Change Maker Awards honoring 18 women across sectors such as design, real estate, education, sustainability, and social impact. These leaders were celebrated for driving innovation and reshaping industry norms.
Through HERizons, Nippon Paint India aims to strengthen its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and social impact by creating opportunities for women to lead and influence change. The initiative aligns with the company’s broader vision of fostering innovation and empowering individuals to shape the future across industries.
