OMRON Healthcare has announced its latest investment in Tricog Health India Private Limited, one of the fastest-growing AI MedTech startups in the Indian healthcare sector. This second wave of investment, following an initial capital infusion in March 2023, aims to fast-track collaborative R&D and drive the adoption of AI-powered cardiac care, remote ECG analytics, and digital health platforms for hospitals and clinics nationwide.
Addressing India’s Cardiovascular Health Crisis
India faces severe challenges with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, which remain the top causes of mortality according to World Health Organization data. The shortage of certified cardiologists and limited access to advanced ECG equipment hampers timely diagnosis and high-quality preventive care. Tricog Health’s industry-leading AI analysis engine, trained on over a decade of ECG data, and its team of over 100 clinical specialists, offer unmatched advantages for rapid heart disease detection, hospital-to-home care, and tailored cardiac workflow solutions.

This advanced remote patient monitoring solution empowers physicians by delivering real-time analysis of home-recorded ECG and blood pressure data, significantly improving clinical decision-making, early detection of cardiac events, and reducing recurrence rates in heart-failure patients across India.
