Appointment reinforces Securonix’s commitment to scaling Unified Defense SIEM and AI-driven security operations across Asia Pacific and Japan.
Securonix has announced the promotion of Ajay Biyani to Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). The leadership elevation underscores the company’s strategic focus on accelerating regional growth, expanding its AI-powered security operations platform, and strengthening its partner ecosystem across one of the world’s fastest-growing cybersecurity markets.
In his expanded role, Ajay will oversee regional strategy, go-to-market execution, channel and MSSP ecosystem development, and customer success initiatives across APJ. His mandate includes scaling adoption of Securonix’s Unified Defense SIEM platform, advancing SaaS-driven security transformation, and helping enterprises modernize their security operations in an increasingly complex threat and regulatory environment.
Since joining Securonix, Ajay has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s footprint across Asia Pacific and Japan through disciplined market expansion, partner enablement programs, and deep customer engagement. He built and led cross-functional teams spanning sales, channel partnerships, and customer success, supporting more than 100 professionals across the region. Under his leadership, Securonix achieved sustained year-over-year revenue growth while significantly increasing adoption of its cloud-native SIEM platform across financial services, telecommunications, government, and other highly regulated sectors.
Ajay also strengthened the regional managed security service provider (MSSP) and channel ecosystem, forging strategic alliances that materially contributed to pipeline growth and accelerated enterprise SaaS adoption. These partnerships have been instrumental in positioning Securonix as a leading AI-driven cybersecurity and threat detection platform provider in APJ.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience across engineering, enterprise sales, and regional management, Ajay brings deep domain expertise in identity security, telecom, and digital transformation. Prior to Securonix, he held senior leadership roles at ForgeRock, Verizon Enterprise Solutions, and Wipro Technologies. He has served as Vice President, APJ at Securonix since October 2022.
Across Asia Pacific and Japan, enterprises are balancing rapid digital transformation initiatives with intensifying regulatory scrutiny and escalating cyber threats. Boards and regulators are demanding measurable cyber resilience, operational transparency, and improved security outcomes. In his new role, Ajay will focus on enabling organizations to adopt governed, AI-powered security operations that deliver operational clarity, predictable cost structures, and executive-level accountability. This includes driving adoption of Unified Defense SIEM and agentic AI capabilities to enhance threat detection, incident response, and security analytics maturity.
Ajay’s promotion reflects Securonix’s long-term investment in APJ as a high-growth strategic region and aligns with its broader global expansion strategy for AI-driven cybersecurity solutions.
Commenting on the appointment, Scott Sampson, Chief Revenue Officer at Securonix, said that APJ represents one of the most dynamic cybersecurity markets globally. He noted that Ajay has demonstrated consistent leadership, cultivated strong regional partnerships, and delivered measurable growth. As Securonix continues scaling its Unified Defense SIEM platform powered by agentic AI, his leadership will play a critical role in deepening customer trust and accelerating regional expansion.
Ajay Biyani added that security leaders across APJ face increasing pressure to deliver measurable cyber resilience while navigating regulatory complexity and rapid digital growth. He emphasized that his priority will be strengthening the regional partner ecosystem, supporting customers’ transition to AI-driven security operations, and ensuring organizations across the region become both breach ready and board ready in today’s evolving threat landscape.
