Confluent has introduced new Confluent Intelligence capabilities designed to power enterprise AI with real-time data, connected AI agents, and advanced anomaly detection. The updates enable organizations to build scalable, context-aware AI systems that can act on live data and automate decision-making.
At the core of the launch are Streaming Agents, which use the Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol to connect and coordinate AI agents across enterprise systems in real time. This allows businesses to break down data silos and enable seamless communication between AI tools, data platforms, and enterprise applications. By integrating with platforms like Snowflake and Salesforce, organizations can turn real-time insights into immediate action, improving efficiency and responsiveness.
According to Sean Falconer, modern AI systems must continuously learn and collaborate using live data to stay competitive. Confluent’s approach connects AI agents across environments, enabling them to analyze, act, and coordinate workflows automatically.
The company also introduced Multivariate Anomaly Detection, an AI-driven capability that analyzes multiple data metrics simultaneously to identify unusual patterns with greater accuracy. Unlike traditional tools that rely on isolated metrics or historical data, this system reduces false positives and detects issues before they impact operations, helping teams prevent outages and optimize performance.
