G42 Rolls Out OpenAI GPT-OSS Worldwide via Core42 AI Cloud

Core42

Core42 has announced the global launch of OpenAI’s latest open-weight AI models, including gpt-oss-20B and gpt-oss-120B, now available on the Core42 AI Cloud platform. These models are instantly accessible through the Core42 Compass API, enabling enterprises, researchers, and developers to run them on a variety of leading GPU and accelerator platforms with sovereign, scalable, and high-performance capabilities.

With integration into the Compass API, Core42 offers flexibility to tap into a wide range of high-performance compute platforms. The infrastructure delivers industry-leading inference speeds of up to 3,000 tokens per second per user, making real-time AI at global scale possible. Workloads can be aligned with optimal infrastructure for the best price-performance ratio, while ensuring scalability and security. This deployment is designed for low-latency inference workloads and applications, reaffirming Core42’s commitment to secure, optimized, sovereign-enabled AI infrastructure.

“Core42 AI Cloud, powered by silicon-diverse infrastructure, delivers the flexibility and performance needed for today’s AI workloads. Through the Compass API, organizations can access the latest open-weight AI models and choose the optimal platform to scale transformation, optimize performance and cost, and drive progress across global markets,” said Kiril Evtimov, CEO of Core42 and Group CTO, G42.

The Core42 open-weight deployment offers enterprise-scale performance for demanding workloads, enabling advanced automation, decision-making, and real-time AI experiences. It also supports sovereign-ready scalability, allowing high-performance AI deployments within a country’s borders under full sovereign controls—an essential feature for sectors like healthcare, finance, and national security. For organizations operating under committed infrastructure agreements, the platform provides predictable cost and performance, while cost-efficient agentic AI capabilities make advanced AI accessible to cost-sensitive scenarios without compromising sovereignty.

Available immediately through the Compass API, these models give organizations the ability to run and adapt AI either locally or in the cloud, with full transparency, fine-tuning capabilities, and sovereign deployment options. This flexibility allows businesses to balance performance, cost, and compliance according to their specific needs.

The release represents a significant step toward enterprise AI autonomy, granting businesses the ability to customize AI to their requirements and unlock new opportunities for innovation at scale. This launch follows other major G42 initiatives, including the unveiling of a 5GW US-UAE AI campus, the opening of the 1GW Stargate UAE facility as the first phase of the project, and a $1.5 billion investment from Microsoft in 2024, solidifying the UAE’s position as a global AI hub.
