Garmin has launched the Forerunner 970 and Forerunner 570 in India, its most advanced GPS running and triathlon smartwatches. Designed to help athletes of all levels train smarter and achieve new personal bests, the latest Forerunner models feature vibrant AMOLED displays, a built-in speaker and microphone for calls and voice assistance, personalized workouts, recovery insights, and more.
The Forerunner 970 goes a step further with a built-in LED flashlight and cutting-edge performance metrics like running tolerance, running economy, and step speed loss, developed in collaboration with Garmin’s team of sports scientists and physiologists. With impressive battery life, the Forerunner 970 lasts up to 15 days in smartwatch mode, while the Forerunner 570 delivers up to 11 days.

Garmin’s latest smartwatch combines high-performance design with advanced features, offering the brand’s brightest touchscreen display and a durable 5-button layout for quick, all-weather access to training tools, health metrics, and smart notifications. Athletes can benefit from a projected race time predictor to estimate pace and finish time, while the built-in speaker and microphone enable calls, voice commands, and message responses when paired with a compatible smartphone. Additionally, Pulse Ox technology tracks breathing variations during sleep, helping users gain deeper insights into their respiratory patterns and recovery.
With a 47 mm case size, the Forerunner 970 is available in striking colour options such as carbon gray DLC titanium with a black/translucent whitestone band, titanium with a whitestone/translucent amp yellow band, and soft gold titanium with a french gray/translucent indigo band, blending performance with style. Available in two case sizes (42 mm and 47 mm), the Forerunner 570 has six colour options, it offers a personalised fit and style. Forerunner 570 offers up to 11 days of battery life in smartwatch mode and 18 hours in GPS mode.
