Google has introduced a new wave of AI-powered shopping features across its ecosystem, including the Gemini app, AI Mode in Search, and Circle to Search, aiming to deliver a more personalized and seamless online shopping experience.
At the core of these updates is the integration of Google’s Gemini AI models with its Shopping Graph, a massive database containing over 50 billion product listings, with nearly 2 billion updates refreshed hourly. This enables users to access real-time product data, pricing, and availability directly within AI-driven interfaces.
The updated Gemini app now allows users to shop conversationally—helping them discover outfits, create gift lists, compare products, and explore pricing options across the web, all within a single chat interface. The feature supports both English and Hindi, making it more accessible to a wider audience.
In AI Mode within Google Search, users can now receive intelligently organized shopping results that combine product visuals, reviews, prices, and live inventory in one place. This conversational search experience simplifies decision-making and enhances product discovery.
Meanwhile, Circle to Search has been upgraded on select devices like the Pixel 10 and Samsung Galaxy S26 series, allowing users to search for multiple items within a single image. For example, users can circle or tap different elements of an outfit to instantly find similar products online.
With these updates, Google is positioning its AI ecosystem to transform how users discover, compare, and purchase products, making online shopping faster, smarter, and more interactive.
