LG Electronics has officially brought back its iconic Wallpaper TV concept with the launch of the LG OLED evo W6, its thinnest OLED television yet. Revealed at CES 2026, the new model marks LG’s return to the Wallpaper TV segment after nearly six years, combining an ultra-slim 9mm design, next-generation OLED technology, AI-powered features, and premium gaming performance.
Ultra-Slim 9mm Design With Zero Connect Box
The LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV measures just 9mm thick, achieved through extensive miniaturisation of internal components and a completely re-engineered architecture. Designed to sit flush against the wall, the TV uses a newly developed wall mount that eliminates visible gaps, reinforcing its “wallpaper-like” aesthetic.
Connectivity is handled through LG’s Zero Connect Box, which wirelessly transmits video and audio signals and can be placed up to 10 metres away, keeping the viewing space clean and cable-free.
OLED evo Display With Hyper Radiant Colour Technology
The OLED evo W6 features LG’s latest Hyper Radiant Colour Technology, which enhances colour accuracy, deeper blacks, and overall image realism. The TV is also powered by Brightness Booster Ultra, delivering up to 3.9x higher brightness compared to standard OLED panels—making it suitable for both cinematic viewing and well-lit living spaces.
LG Gallery+ and AI Art Integration
As part of LG’s lifestyle TV push, the OLED evo W6 includes LG Gallery+, offering access to over 4,500 curated visuals, including high-resolution landscapes, digital artwork, popular video game art, and AI-generated art. When not in use, the TV transforms into a digital canvas, blending seamlessly into modern interiors.
For gamers, the LG OLED evo W6 delivers flagship-level performance with:
- 4K resolution at 165Hz refresh rate
- NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium
- Ultra-low latency for competitive gaming
The TV also introduces Multi-AI personalisation, which recognises individual users through voice commands to tailor content, settings, and recommendations. Integration with Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot further enhances smart home control, productivity, and conversational AI experiences.
The LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV will be available in 77-inch and 83-inch screen sizes, targeting premium home entertainment buyers seeking cutting-edge design, immersive visuals, and advanced AI capabilities. With the return of its Wallpaper TV lineup, LG is once again redefining OLED TV design, positioning the OLED evo W6 as a statement piece that combines ultra-thin aesthetics, AI-powered intelligence, next-gen gaming features, and premium display performance—setting a new benchmark for luxury televisions in 2026.
