Meta Launches Unified Support Hub for Facebook & Instagram

The unified support comes loaded with AI Search, Enhanced Security and Faster Account Recovery.

Meta has introduced a new unified support hub for Facebook and Instagram, bringing all account support, recovery tools, and AI-powered assistance into a single streamlined dashboard. The global rollout aims to improve user experience by making it easier to resolve login issues, recover hacked accounts, strengthen security, and access personalised help across Meta platforms.

Centralised Support Hub for Easier Facebook & Instagram Troubleshooting

Meta says the new support hub is designed as a single, simplified destination for all account-related assistance. Instead of navigating multiple menus, users can now report issues, recover locked or hacked accounts, access personalised help through an AI-powered search tool and follow guided steps to manage privacy and security settings. The goal is to eliminate confusion and improve success rates for users trying to resolve account problems independently.

A major upgrade within this rollout is Meta’s new AI support assistant, which is currently in testing. It offers guided, real-time help for tasks such as account recovery, password resets, privacy adjustments and resolving hacked account issues. The AI assistant responds to natural language queries and provides personalised suggestions based on a user’s situation. Meta has launched the feature first on Facebook, with plans to bring it to Instagram, Messenger and eventually other Meta platforms. This aligns with the company’s broader push to integrate generative AI for smarter, faster support experiences.

Meta is also strengthening platform security alongside the new support hub. Users will now have access to passkey login — a passwordless authentication method — along with improved two-factor authentication workflows for smoother verification. The company says enhanced AI systems are now better at detecting fraud, blocking suspicious logins and stopping phishing attempts in real time. Together, these upgrades aim to reduce account hacks and offer stronger protection against impersonation and identity theft.

Meta says its latest AI-based detection models have already reduced account hacks by over 30% across Facebook and Instagram. The company also claims improvements in preventing wrongful account disabling, with faster appeal resolutions using AI decision tools.

A Step Toward Safer, More Reliable Online Accounts
The unified support hub is now available globally on iOS, Android and web, offering users more control over account security and troubleshooting. With rising concerns around online scams, identity theft, phishing attacks and hacked accounts, Meta says these upgrades will create a “more secure, trustworthy experience” across its platforms.
