Nutanix has partnered with RapidFort to enhance Kubernetes security across the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP), helping enterprises securely deploy and manage cloud-native and AI-driven applications at scale.
The collaboration integrates RapidFort’s automated software supply chain security capabilities into NKP, including near-zero CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) container images. This integration enables organizations to significantly reduce security risks, improve compliance, and protect workloads across hybrid environments, including data centers, edge infrastructure, and public cloud platforms.
As enterprises increasingly adopt Kubernetes for modern application development, maintaining security without slowing innovation has become a critical challenge. This partnership addresses that gap by embedding security directly into the platform, allowing businesses to adopt a proactive, secure-by-design approach while accelerating development cycles.
The enhanced platform is designed to support a wide range of enterprise use cases, including artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI workloads, where secure and scalable infrastructure is essential.
According to Nutanix leadership, integrating advanced security into Kubernetes environments is key to enabling organizations to scale hybrid and multi-cloud strategies without compromising on compliance or operational agility.
The integrated solution is expected to be made available to all NKP customers, further strengthening enterprise readiness for secure cloud-native and AI application deployment.
