Veeam Software, the number one global leader in data resilience and backup solutions, has announced the appointment of Veronica Oprea as Inside Sales Leader for EMEA, effective immediately. This strategic promotion underscores Veeam’s commitment to advancing enterprise sales leadership, driving customer engagement, and supporting digital transformation across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
With over six years of hands-on experience at Veeam, Veronica Oprea has excelled in multiple leadership roles—including Director, Inside Sales EMEA South, and Acting Inside Sales Leader EMEA. Her expertise spans managing high-performing sales teams, implementing innovative go-to-market strategies, and fostering operational excellence in commercial and enterprise segments. Based in Bucharest, she has consistently delivered outstanding business growth, pipeline acceleration, and robust sales performance through collaborative leadership and strategic planning.
Prior to joining Veeam, Veronica strengthened her enterprise sales and change management capabilities as Support Sales Manager for Hospitality & Retail South Region at Oracle, successfully driving operational integration and exceeding business targets through expert team building and process transformation.
In her new role as Inside Sales Leader for EMEA, Veronica will spearhead Veeam’s inside sales strategy, leading transformational initiatives that accelerate pipeline creation, optimize revenue generation, and enhance customer relationships throughout the region. She will closely collaborate with Veeam’s regional sales teams and channel partners to promote data resilience, cybersecurity, and backup solutions tailored for organizations of all sizes.
