ISODA recently concluded the 4-day ISODA United Summit 2024 in Kovalam, Kerala, bringing together leading minds from India’s IT channel community. The event featured the ISODA Annual General Meeting (AGM), where members discussed strategies to boost the association’s membership and visibility. The Management Committee, with unanimous member support, retained the existing board, except for the appointment of Pratik Shah, Director at ITCG Technologies LLP, as the new Regional Secretary for the West.
A key highlight was the leadership session “Know Your Everest” by Kuntal Joisher, the first vegan to scale Mt. Everest twice, who shared insights on overcoming challenges through collaboration. Sreekumar Balachandran, Global IT Head at Suntech Group and President of the Kerala Chapter of the CIO Association of India, delivered a keynote on the rising adoption of hybrid cloud solutions and growing trends in repatriation.
Presentations from Firemon, Scale Fusion, Bahwan Cyber Tek, Fortra, Acronis, Trellix, Efficient IP, and Prophaze kept attendees engaged.
The ISODA OEM Awards 2024 honored channel-friendly OEMs, with SonicWall and Sophos emerging as winners. The ISODA Awards for Business Excellence 2024 recognized Essen Vision Software & Secure Network Solutions in the Solution Partner category. Beehive Software was named Best ISV, and TechKnowlogic, a Netpoleon company, won Best Distributor.
