Versa, a global leader in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), has partnered with OPSWAT, a top cybersecurity company specializing in critical infrastructure protection. This collaboration aims to boost the real-time device security capabilities of the Versa SASE Client using OPSWAT’s MetaDefender Endpoint Security SDK.
The Versa SASE Client combines connectivity and security for both users and devices. It supports real-time path optimization and applies Zero Trust security policies that adapt based on the current health and compliance of a device. With OPSWAT’s SDK now integrated, IT teams can get real-time data on device posture and use it to automatically validate endpoints and enforce strict security rules—helping reduce the risk of cyberattacks, especially in remote and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) environments.
Versa’s Senior Director of Product Management, Anusha Vaidyanathan, explained that as businesses continue operating in cloud and hybrid setups, verifying device security before granting access is critical. This joint solution allows organizations to ensure compliance and reduce vulnerabilities when users access sensitive business systems remotely.
OPSWAT’s Vice President of Technical Alliances, Hamid Karimi, highlighted that this partnership strengthens endpoint protection by embedding compliance checks directly into the VersaONE Universal SASE Platform. It ensures that only secure and compliant devices can connect to company networks.
The MetaDefender SDK itself is a flexible, cross-platform security development toolkit. Its Device Compliance Module allows engineers to build advanced device posture assessments and security checks into their products. This helps deliver secure access, remote support, and enhanced network control, ultimately improving cybersecurity across industries.
Together, Versa and OPSWAT are providing businesses with a powerful, integrated solution to enforce Zero Trust principles and keep modern digital environments safer.
