Pune-based electric mobility innovator EMotorad has launched the Ranger, a motorcycle-inspired e-cycle designed to revolutionize urban commuting and leisure riding in India. Priced at ₹55,999, the Ranger blends the thrill of a motorbike with the sustainability and ease of an electric bicycle—no licence, fuel, or registration required.
Available via EMotorad showrooms, Amazon, and Flipkart, the Ranger is aimed at city riders and adventure seekers who want performance, style, and eco-friendly mobility in one package. Its aggressive moto-style design, fat 20-inch tyres, and throttle-enabled power deliver a motorbike-like experience, while still offering the convenience of pedal assist for longer rides.
“Ranger is our boldest product yet, built for those who refuse to choose between fun and function,” said Kunal Gupta, co-founder and CEO of EMotorad. “It represents the future of accessible, exciting, and electric mobility in India.”
Crafted on a high-tensile steel frame with double crown suspension (120mm travel), the Ranger is built for durability across urban roads and rough trails. Powered by a 48V 12.75Ah removable battery, it delivers up to 75 km on pedal assist and 60 km on throttle mode. A 7-speed Shimano gearset allows smooth adaptability for diverse terrains.
Additional highlights include:
- Cluster C6+ digital display for ride metrics
- 110 kg weight capacity; suitable for riders 5.4 ft and taller
- Five-year frame warranty
With its rugged build, long-range battery, and motorbike-inspired appeal, the EMotorad Ranger is set to redefine how Indians commute and explore—combining style, sustainability, and power in one electrifying ride.
