Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a strategic partnership with NOW Corporation’s telecom arm, Now Telecom, to advance the Philippines’ digital infrastructure, enhance national cloud sovereignty, and support financial inclusion across the archipelago.
Now Telecom, a public sector telecommunications company, provides services across mobile networks and fixed wireless access in the Philippines. This collaboration will leverage TCS’ SovereignSecure Cloud platform to build a localized cloud infrastructure that ensures data sovereignty, develops AI-ready infrastructure, and supports operational continuity while enabling local capability-building.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) outlines joint efforts to create a secure, clean network for the country, protecting sensitive national data while accelerating digital transformation in key sectors such as finance, public services, and education. The initiative will also focus on expanding broadband connectivity to underserved and remote communities, promoting digital equity and empowering citizens with greater access to e-governance services, online learning, and digital banking.
Through the deployment of SovereignSecure Cloud, TCS aims to deliver a resilient, scalable, and future-proof IT ecosystem capable of hosting mission-critical applications while complying with local regulatory requirements. The platform will integrate AI-driven automation, cybersecurity safeguards, and high-performance computing resources to support smart city initiatives and industry digitization in the Philippines.
This partnership positions TCS and Now Telecom as key enablers of the country’s digital economy roadmap, aligning with the Philippine government’s vision to modernize infrastructure, increase ICT adoption, and build a secure, inclusive, and sustainable digital future.
