New M4350 Switches and NETGEAR Engage Offline Provisioning Deliver Greater Performance, Reliability, and Deployment Flexibility for AV and Broadcast Professionals.
NETGEAR has launched two new next-generation IP switches in its M4350 Series, alongside the latest version of the NETGEAR Engage Controller, at ISE 2026. These innovations are purpose-built to address the real-world challenges faced by professional AV and broadcast integrators—ranging from rugged hardware requirements and increasing bandwidth demands to faster, more efficient network deployment.
Designed specifically for live production, broadcast, and AV-over-IP environments, the new solutions deliver industrial-grade reliability, scalable performance, and the ability to design and configure networks entirely offline—before arriving on site.
Rugged, High-Performance Switching for Mission-Critical AV Environments
The newly introduced M4350-16M4V switch is engineered for demanding production conditions and features industry-standard Neutrik locking connectors throughout, including etherCON for network connectivity, opticalCON for fiber, and powerCON for power. These locking interfaces prevent accidental disconnections during load-in, transport, or live events.
The switch offers:
- 16 x 2.5G PoE++ ports delivering up to 1,130W total power
- 4 x 25G SFP28 uplinks
- Four modular interface card slots, allowing integrators to customize uplink connectivity to meet specific deployment needs
To address high-bandwidth aggregation requirements, NETGEAR also introduced the M4350-16C, featuring 16 ports of 100G connectivity. Designed for core and aggregation layers in large-scale AV-over-IP and broadcast deployments, the M4350-16C provides the throughput required for multiple high-resolution and uncompressed video streams.
With these additions, the M4350 portfolio now spans 18 models, offering speeds from 1G to 100G, high-power PoE++, redundant modular power supplies, SMPTE ST 2110 timing support, and TAA-compliant options for government and regulated projects. The new switches will be available starting March 2026.
Offline Network Design with NETGEAR Engage Controller 2.4
NETGEAR also announced Engage Controller version 2.4, available in February 2026, introducing offline provisioning—a major advancement for AV network deployment. Integrators can now create virtual switches and WiFi 7 access points, design complete networks, and validate configurations without any physical hardware.
Once on site, users can simply import the pre-configured setup, connect devices, and deploy in minutes. Configurations can also be saved as reusable templates, significantly reducing setup time for repeat installations.
“Integrators told us their biggest challenges—too much time on site, cables coming loose during critical moments, and networks that are difficult to scale. We listened. Offline provisioning enables configuration from anywhere, Neutrik locking connectors ensure rock-solid reliability, and 100G switching prepares installations for future bandwidth demands,” said Laurent Masia, Senior Director of Product Management at NETGEAR.
