Nutanix and NVIDIA Rubin Platform Accelerate Enterprise Agentic AI Adoption with Faster Time-to-Value and Scalable AI Infrastructure

LLMs

Nutanix is accelerating time-to-value for agentic AI and generative AI workloads by deepening its collaboration with NVIDIA through support for the next-generation NVIDIA Rubin platform. As large language models (LLMs) and agentic AI systems continue to transform enterprises, the partnership aims to help organizations deploy, scale, and operationalize AI faster with reduced infrastructure complexity, higher performance, and improved power efficiency.

Over the past three years, the rapid evolution of publicly available LLMs has fueled massive innovation across industries, enabling advanced use cases such as natural language generation, image creation, translation, summarization, and AI-driven decision-making. However, as AI models grow larger and more sophisticated, enterprises face increasing challenges related to compute demands, data center complexity, scalability, and cost efficiency.

NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure has emerged as a best-in-class platform for accelerated token processing that powers generative AI and agentic AI applications. To address enterprise needs, Nutanix has developed a fully integrated AI operating environment that simplifies the deployment of AI factories built on NVIDIA AI infrastructure and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, including NVIDIA NIM microservices.

The Nutanix AI stack is powered by its award-winning Acropolis Operating System (AOS) and AHV hypervisor, alongside the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP), Nutanix Enterprise AI (NAI), Nutanix Unified Storage (NUS), and Nutanix Database (NDB). Through its partnership with Canonical, Nutanix also offers Ubuntu Pro for NKP bare-metal deployments, ensuring optimal compatibility across the NVIDIA AI ecosystem.

“The AI-driven industrial revolution requires a foundation that removes complexity and accelerates enterprise AI outcomes. By integrating the NVIDIA Rubin platform with Nutanix’s AI operating environment, organizations gain a sovereign AI foundation to build AI factories and transform proprietary data into a competitive advantage,” said Justin Boitano, Vice President of Enterprise AI Products at NVIDIA.

Highlighting regional impact, Mahmoud Sharaf, Director of Systems Engineering for South Gulf and Sub-Saharan Africa at Nutanix, noted that enterprises—particularly in markets like the UAE—are increasingly prioritizing scalable AI adoption with local control, regulatory compliance, and data sovereignty.

With support for the NVIDIA Rubin platform, Nutanix plans to enable next-generation acceleration technologies, including NVIDIA Vera Arm-based CPUs, NVIDIA Rubin GPUs, and NVIDIA BlueField-4 data processing units (DPUs). Nutanix will also support the NVIDIA Inference Context Memory Storage Platform and NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet Photonics switches, delivering end-to-end data center acceleration for AI workloads.

This turnkey, integrated AI operating environment enables enterprises to move from infrastructure deployment to AI inference and token generation rapidly—streamlining the journey from hardware delivery to real-world AI production. Nutanix’s continued commitment to open-source technologies further enhances flexibility, with support for NVIDIA’s open-permissible AI models and NIM microservices.

By combining Nutanix’s cloud-native AI platform with NVIDIA Rubin acceleration, enterprises can simplify AI infrastructure management, accelerate generative and agentic AI deployments, and unlock measurable business value from day one—positioning themselves for the next wave of enterprise AI innovation.
