New IDP software introduces advanced AI integrations, faster workflows, and improved automation for enterprise document management.
Kodak Alaris has announced the launch of KODAK Info Input Solution IDP Version 7.5, a next-generation intelligent document processing (IDP) platform designed to help organizations extract more value from data using advanced artificial intelligence, automation, and machine learning.
The latest release delivers deeper native AI integrations, simplified administration, and faster job creation, enabling enterprises to process documents more efficiently and make data-driven decisions with greater accuracy—regardless of document type, format, or source.
Open Intelligence Design Enables Flexible, AI-Driven Automation
KODAK Info Input Solution is built on Kodak Alaris’ Open Intelligence architecture, which deploys pre-trained document understanding models directly into workflow processes. This approach removes the complexity traditionally associated with AI adoption and allows organizations to integrate their preferred AI services seamlessly.
With Version 7.5, Kodak Alaris expands native integrations with leading hyperscaler AI platforms, including Google Cloud AI, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure, giving enterprises the flexibility to automate complex document processing tasks with improved speed, scalability, and precision.
Expanded Native AI Integrations for Smarter Document Processing
The new release enhances existing connectors with industry-leading solutions such as Google Doc AI, Microsoft Document Intelligence, Amazon Textract, and Hyperscience, while adding native support for:
Google Gemini
AWS Bedrock Data Automation
ChatGPT
Box AI
By combining advanced AI models with human-in-the-loop validation, the platform ensures high accuracy, reliability, and compliance in data extraction and document classification workflows.
Faster Workflows, Smarter Validation, and Enhanced OCR
Info Input Solution 7.5 introduces intelligent assignment and validation features that improve throughput and reduce processing time. A new drag-and-drop graphical workflow designer enables faster and easier process configuration, even for complex document workflows.
The release also integrates the IRIS OCR engine at no additional cost, allowing organizations to create searchable PDF/A documents with AI-powered indexing. This enables faster information retrieval across enterprise repositories using both metadata and content-based search.
Driving Sustainable, AI-First Document Intelligence
“Our mission is to make document intelligence open, application-oriented, and sustainable for the long term. With Info Input Solution 7.5, we reduce complexity, accelerate automation adoption, and give customers the flexibility to evolve continuously as AI technology advances,” said Megan Bevilacqua, Senior Product Manager at Kodak Alaris.
The updated IDP platform supports full automation across the document lifecycle, including:
Document classification and separation
Data extraction and indexing
Automated validation and verification
Intelligent summarization of multi-page documents and email threads
The solution can process structured, unstructured, and handwritten documents, automatically validating critical information such as legal references, financial thresholds, and content plausibility. This significantly reduces manual intervention and accelerates business processes at scale.
