Acronis Launches MDR by Acronis TRU for 24/7 Threat Detection and Response for MSPs

Acronis

With this launch, Acronis strengthens its position in the cybersecurity market, helping MSPs deliver scalable, integrated, and resilient security services worldwide.

Acronis has introduced MDR by Acronis TRU, a globally available 24/7 managed detection and response (MDR) service designed to help managed service providers (MSPs) deliver advanced cybersecurity without the need for in-house security operations.

Powered by the Acronis Threat Research Unit (TRU), the service provides continuous threat monitoring, rapid incident response, and integrated cyber resilience, enabling MSPs to protect clients against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats while reducing operational complexity and costs.

Unlike traditional MDR solutions, Acronis MDR combines endpoint detection and response, proactive protection, patch management, and business continuity into a single platform. This integrated approach allows faster threat containment, streamlined management, and improved recovery capabilities.

According to Gaidar Magdanurov, President at Acronis, the solution is designed to make enterprise-grade security accessible to MSPs of all sizes, enabling them to scale services efficiently while maintaining high protection standards.

Key benefits include:

  • 24/7 monitoring and rapid response, with incidents addressed in as little as 15 minutes
  • Built-in proactive protection and recovery, including patching and attack rollback
  • Flexible deployment and pricing, making it easy for MSPs to adopt and scale

The service is also supported by a broader ecosystem, including partners like Legato Security, enabling localized and compliant MDR delivery across global markets.
