Freshworks Appoints Kuntal Vahalia as SVP of Global Channels to Drive Partner-Led Growth

Freshworks has announced the appointment of Kuntal Vahalia as Senior Vice President of Global Channels and Alliances, reinforcing its strategy to accelerate partner-led growth, enterprise expansion, and global market reach.

Based in Chennai, the SaaS company said Vahalia will lead its global partner ecosystem, channel strategy, and alliance programs, with a strong focus on Global System Integrators (GSIs) and upmarket growth. He will report to Ian Tickle, Chief Revenue Officer at Freshworks.

Strengthening Partner Ecosystem for Enterprise Growth
Freshworks is increasingly focusing on expanding its footprint in the enterprise segment while strengthening its employee experience (EX) solutions, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Enterprise Service Management (ESM).

Experienced SaaS Leader with Proven Track Record
Kuntal Vahalia brings over 20 years of experience in scaling SaaS businesses through channel partnerships and go-to-market strategies. Prior to joining Freshworks, he served as SVP of Global Channels and Alliances at Anaplan, where he transformed the partner model and drove significant partner-led revenue growth.

He has also held senior leadership roles at Salesforce, MuleSoft, and ThoughtSpot, building global partner ecosystems and driving enterprise adoption across regions.

Driving Momentum in EX and Strategic Alliances
At Freshworks, Vahalia will collaborate with sales, operations, and go-to-market teams to scale channel programs, expand strategic alliances, and unlock new enterprise opportunities. His appointment aligns with Freshworks’ key priorities, including upmarket expansion, partner activation, and growth in its EX business.
