With the option to process video on-premises through edge AI, the solution keeps sensitive data on site, reducing exposure to external networks. This air-gapped architecture delivers resilience critical for India’s industrial and public safety environment
The Qualcomm Insight Platform, developed in collaboration with CP PLUS, marks a major shift from traditional video surveillance to AI-powered, insight-driven video security. By combining advanced edge AI, an extensive smart camera ecosystem, and cloud or air-gapped on-premise deployment, the platform delivers real-time video intelligence with low latency, reduced server dependence, and faster alerts for immediate action.
A key feature is the LLM-based Generative AI Assistant, which allows users to interact with video data using natural language queries. This makes it easier to understand complex, time-sensitive events and improves security visibility across use cases such as workforce monitoring, logistics, access control, perimeter security, and facility management. Built for India’s high-volume and fast-moving environments, the platform emphasizes speed, reliability, and operational resilience.
The solution enables practical, real-world applications across industries. It can detect blocked public pathways, monitor PPE compliance in factories, estimate crowd density at large venues, and support faster responses during high-risk situations. Beyond safety, it also contributes to business intelligence and operational efficiency. Retailers can analyze footfall data to optimize store layouts, public venues can manage visitor flow more effectively, and enterprises can automate audits using AI tools like Merlin. AI-driven video search and summarization surface critical events in seconds, while generative AI converts raw footage into clear, actionable insights.
Together, CP PLUS and Qualcomm Technologies are shaping India’s next phase of AI-driven video intelligence, helping organizations protect assets, control operations, improve efficiency, and transform decision-making. Commercial availability is expected in Q1 2026.
