The exhibition’s theme this year is “AI Next,” integrating four major technological trends: artificial intelligence computing, future mobility, next generation communications and sustainable green energy. All the latest developments in global technology are showcased at the exhibition.
This year there are nearly 1,400 technology companies participating in the annual exhibition, representing 34 countries including Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Czechia, France, Germany and the US. The exhibition spans 80,000 square meters with 4,800 booths, showcasing cutting-edge technologies such as AI PCs, edge computing, gaming products, semiconductor applications and green technology. It is expected to attract over 80,000 visitors from around the world.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang kicked off COMPUTEX on May 19, giving the exhibition’s first keynote at 11am. The second keynote, given by Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon, followed that afternoon. Hon Hai (Foxconn) Chairman Young Liu, MediaTek CEO Dr. Rick Tsai and NXP Executive Vice President Jens Hinrichsen are also giving keynotes, sharing their respective companies latest AI-related developments.
This year, the world-famous research organization Gartner is hosting a unique forum at the exhibition. Focusing on future AI development, the US firm’s Chief of Research Bill Ray analyzes the applications of AI in infrastructure, edge computing and smart automation, providing enterprises with strategic and forward-looking insights.
The day before the forum opened, Arm held a special COMPUTEX event at the Grand Hilai Taipei.
