UiPath brought its flagship global event, FUSION, to Dubai on November 6, hosting a full-day experience for senior executives, technology leaders, AI experts, and industry partners. The event delivered deep insights into Agentic AI, intelligent automation, hands-on demonstrations, and real-world use cases transforming enterprises across the UAE and the wider GCC region.
Part of a worldwide series that kicked off in Las Vegas earlier this year, FUSION Dubai presented a UAE-centric agenda highlighting how leading organizations—including Dubai Police, Etihad Airways, RAKBANK, DP World GCC, and e& UAE—are leveraging the UiPath Business Automation Platform to enhance operational efficiency, elevate productivity, and accelerate digital transformation. The showcased solutions emphasized the power of AI agents, robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning, and human-AI collaboration.
UAE Enterprises Lead the Way in Agentic AI Innovation
During the event, UiPath honored several regional organizations for their outstanding achievements in adopting automation and AI technologies. Recognized innovators included Dubai Police, Etihad Airways, RAKBANK, e& UAE, DP World GCC, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Power International Holdings, and Petroleum Development Oman—all of whom are using UiPath solutions to strengthen industry leadership and scale digital transformation.
“With a bold national strategy for AI, the UAE continues to demonstrate that innovation is embedded in its DNA,” said Ashley Boag, Chief Operating Officer International (COO) and SVP Middle East and Africa at UiPath. “Through events like FUSION, we witness firsthand how organizations are embracing Agentic AI and intelligent automation to redefine efficiency, resilience, and long-term growth. UiPath is committed to empowering enterprises across the UAE and the region to unlock the full potential of AI agents and human-centric automation.”
Islam Azab, Senior Director of AI & Automation at e& UAE, highlighted the company’s evolution from simple RPA to intelligent automation said, “Our journey with UiPath began with automating repetitive tasks. But from the start, we shared a vision for intelligent automation—with AI-powered agents that can see, understand, and act. Today, we’ve entered the age of agentic AI, where automation anticipates needs, learns from data, and collaborates responsibly with humans.”
James Furness, Head of Digital & Technology at Etihad Airways, detailed the airline’s multi-year automation transform adding, “We started with a proof of concept in 2020—just five automations. Yet the impact was immediate and helped secure long-term support. Since then, we’ve delivered hundreds of automation use cases and recently deployed GenAI agents that manage 85% of after-hours operations at our medical centre. With UiPath and our partners, automation has become a core capability driving transformation across the business.”
Driving the UAE’s Artificial Intelligence Strategy Forward
The UAE continues to stand out as a global leader and testbed for emerging technologies—including Agentic AI, machine learning, and advanced automation. FUSION Dubai reinforced UiPath’s commitment to accelerating AI-powered ROI and supporting national initiatives aligned with the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence.
Through an orchestrated approach combining people, systems, and AI, UiPath is helping organizations deliver measurable value across high-impact sectors such as government, aviation, banking, logistics, and telecommunications. This collaborative model enables faster, smarter, and more citizen-centric services—positioning the UAE as a global benchmark for digital innovation.
