Kodak Alaris Launches High-Speed S5000 Series Scanners and Capture Pro 7.0 Software

Kodak Alaris has introduced its next-generation KODAK S5000 Series production scanners and KODAK Capture Pro 7.0 software, designed to help enterprises across the Middle East accelerate digital transformation with unmatched scanning speed, accuracy, and automation. Tailored for sectors like banking, insurance, government, and healthcare, the new solutions streamline document digitization, enabling businesses to meet rising regulatory and customer demands.

The KODAK S5000 Series delivers throughput of up to 210 sheets per minute, powered by a 32-core image processor and Dynamic Flow technology, which balances hardware and software loads to maintain speed even with complex, mixed-batch jobs. These scanners support tri-stream output, allowing businesses to capture archival, workflow-optimized, and customer-facing images in one pass—ideal for high-stakes processes such as loan applications, medical records, and insurance claims.

Advanced features like ultrasonic double-feed detection, metal and crease sensors, and intelligent slowdown ensure the safe handling of sensitive documents. Combined with a redesigned touchscreen interface and real-time consumables monitoring, businesses can reduce downtime while preserving critical records.

“Middle East businesses are racing to digitize faster than ever,” said Naji Kazak, VP EMEIA & APAC at Kodak Alaris. “Our S5000 Series and Capture Pro 7.0 empower organizations to process vast data volumes efficiently, improve turnaround times, and enhance customer trust.”

The KODAK Capture Pro 7.0 software, built on a 64-bit architecture with an intuitive tile-based interface, handles large-scale, complex capture workflows with ease, complementing the scanners for an integrated, high-performance solution. The KODAK S5000 Series—available in models S5160, S5180, and flagship S5210—along with Capture Pro 7.0, will be available in the Middle East starting August 2025.
