Autorox and boodmo Partner to Build India’s First Connected Digital Automotive Aftermarket Ecosystem

Autorox has announced a strategic partnership with boodmo to develop India’s first connected digital aftermarket ecosystem, linking repair workshops, parts catalogs, sellers, and online marketplaces through a unified digital infrastructure.

The collaboration aims to transform how repair shops discover and procure spare parts by embedding real-time parts intelligence directly into the repair workflow. Autorox currently operates over 2,000 digitally enabled workshops in India and supports repair networks across 40 countries, making it one of the largest digital garage networks globally.

At the core of the partnership is a “Discovery First” workflow, which integrates structured parts intelligence directly into repair orders. Once a vehicle diagnosis is completed, workshops can instantly identify the correct spare parts, verify compatibility, and check real-time inventory availability from multiple sellers without leaving the repair management system.

Historically, parts discovery has been one of the most disruptive stages in the vehicle repair process. Technicians often need to exit repair systems to manually search parts catalogs or confirm availability, which slows down repair timelines and introduces errors. The Autorox–boodmo integration addresses this challenge by embedding a standardized digital parts catalog directly into the workshop workflow.

The system connects repair shops to live seller inventory through the Autozilla infrastructure. Once a vehicle is identified, workshops can access parts aligned with the specific vehicle and repair context, view real-time inventory from sellers on Autozilla, and surface availability across marketplaces such as boodmo.

With this integration, the traditional repair order is transformed from a static document into a dynamic digital hub that connects vehicle diagnosis, parts discovery, and procurement in a seamless workflow.

Vijay Gummadi, Founder and CEO of Autorox, said the company believes the future of auto repair depends on better-connected systems rather than adding more standalone software tools. He noted that India’s technology adoption often leapfrogs traditional systems, comparing the shift in the aftermarket industry to the country’s rapid adoption of mobile payments through UPI.

For boodmo, the partnership addresses a key challenge in the automotive parts marketplace: data accuracy and inventory transparency. Real-time availability signals from sellers will now flow directly into the parts discovery process, ensuring workshops and buyers access updated stock information rather than outdated inventory snapshots.

Oleksandr Danylenko, Founder of boodmo, emphasized that marketplace trust depends on reliable data and accurate availability information. By connecting seller inventory directly into the discovery workflow, the integration strengthens reliability across the ecosystem for workshops, sellers, and customers.
