S&P Global has strengthened its presence in India with the inauguration of a new state-of-the-art office in Downtown Gurugram, reinforcing the country’s role as a key hub for global talent and innovation. The expansion highlights India’s growing importance in S&P Global’s long-term strategy to deliver essential intelligence to clients worldwide.
The newly launched 190,000-square-foot facility will accommodate over 3,500 employees operating in a hybrid work model across technology, data, operations, and customer success functions. With more than 16,000 employees already based in India, the new office underscores the company’s continued investment in the region’s skilled workforce.
Senior leaders, including Saugata Saha, President of S&P Global Market Intelligence, Yann Le Pallec, President of S&P Global Ratings, and Seth Fox, CTO of Digital Technology Services, attended the inauguration. The leadership emphasized India’s strong economic outlook and its strategic role in driving the company’s global growth. According to Saugata Saha, India remains one of the world’s fastest-growing major economies, making it a critical center for innovation and high-value talent.
The Gurugram office has been designed to foster productivity, collaboration, and employee wellbeing. It features advanced infrastructure such as a dedicated client experience room with interactive technology, a podcast studio, IT-enabled workspaces, and a mobile app for seamless workplace interactions. The facility also encourages creativity through spaces like an art wall, library, ideation zones, and a music room.
Sustainability and employee wellness are central to the design, with eco-friendly practices integrated across the workspace. Amenities such as a mini-gym, nap pods, and a 400-seat cafeteria offering healthy dining options aim to support a balanced and engaging work environment.
