BenQ Launches ScreenBar Halo 2 in India

BenQ’s AcreenBar Halo 2 is a Smarter Monitor Light Bar With Wider Coverage, Eye-Care Tech & Premium Design.

BenQ has officially launched the ScreenBar Halo 2 in India, introducing a next-generation monitor light bar designed for professionals, creators, coders, and gamers who work in low-light or dynamic lighting environments. The new model brings major upgrades in brightness control, coverage area, and design—positioning it as one of the most advanced ergonomic desk-lighting solutions available today.

423% Wider Coverage With Next-Gen Triple-Curvature Lighting
After four years of research, BenQ has engineered the ScreenBar Halo 2 to deliver 423% wider lighting coverage than its predecessor. This improvement is powered by a redesigned triple-curvature backlight and an enhanced dual-light system, offering uniform illumination across large desks and widescreen monitors.

The ScreenBar Halo 2 aims to eliminate issues caused by traditional desk lamps—such as glare, reflections, and uneven lighting. Using BenQ’s ASYM Light optical technology with an 18-degree asymmetrical cut-off angle, the light illuminates the desk while keeping the screen glare-free, significantly reducing eye strain and visual fatigue.

Smarter Controls for Creators, Designers & Night-Owl Professionals
JC Pan, Chief Product Designer at BenQ Smart Lighting, highlighted the upgraded control system said, “We know professionals demand precision in lighting. The newly re-engineered wireless control dial offers intuitive, smooth adjustments for brightness (0–100%) and color temperature (2700K–6500K). It is perfect for content creators, editors, colour grading artists, and late-night productivity.”

The dial now features an anti-fingerprint coating, ensuring a premium, clutter-free user experience.

Improved Mounting for Curved & Premium Monitors
BenQ has replaced traditional clip-based mounts with a gravity-inspired mounting mechanism crafted from zinc alloy. This new design distributes weight gently across the monitor, offering compatibility with a wide range of flat and curved displays without causing pressure or damage.

“As it rests gently on the monitor instead of clipping, it’s far more screen-friendly,” said Judy Yang, Lead Mechanical Engineer at BenQ Smart Lighting.

The ScreenBar Halo 2 includes several intelligent features:

  • Auto-dimming for consistent lighting
  • Motion detection that activates when the user returns to the desk
  • Memory settings that save preferred configurations
  • Energy-efficient performance suited for long work sessions

These features make the Halo 2 an ideal choice for hybrid workers, designers, developers, and gamers seeking a seamless lighting experience.

Co-developed with MINIMAL Design, led by former Nike Global Creative Director Scott Wilson, the Halo 2 sports a metallic finish and a minimalist silhouette. It integrates effortlessly into premium home offices, studio setups, and creator workstations, complementing BenQ’s PD, RD, MOBIUZ, and MA monitor series.

The BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2 is now available on BenQ’s India E-Store, Amazon India, and select retail outlets, priced at ₹17,490.
