Netskope Launches AI Guardrails on Google Cloud TPUs to Secure Scalable AI Workflows

Netskope

Netskope has announced an expanded partnership with Google Cloud to introduce its AI Guardrails solution, designed to secure high-performance generative AI and autonomous agent workflows at scale.

Built on Google Cloud’s Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) and integrated with Vertex AI, the solution enables enterprises to deploy AI systems with enhanced speed, safety, and compliance. The Netskope One AI Guardrails platform provides real-time protection for AI models, data, and workflows, ensuring secure adoption of next-generation AI technologies.

Securing the Rise of Agentic AI
As enterprise AI investments are projected to exceed $867 billion by 2029, organizations are rapidly shifting from basic chatbots to autonomous AI agents capable of executing complex tasks. This evolution introduces new risks, including prompt injection, data leakage, and unauthorized system actions.

The Netskope solution addresses these challenges by offering agent-native security, ensuring that every interaction—whether through APIs, tools, or Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers—is verified against enterprise policies in real time.

High-Performance AI Security with TPUs
By leveraging Google Cloud TPUs, the platform delivers low-latency, high-throughput security checks that operate in line with AI model performance. This ensures that safety mechanisms do not become bottlenecks in high-speed AI environments.

Integration with Vertex AI enables real-time content moderation and policy enforcement, allowing organizations to maintain responsible AI usage without compromising performance.

The AI Guardrails solution proactively detects and mitigates AI-specific threats such as prompt injection, jailbreaking, and malicious command execution. It also prevents unintended recursive loops that could lead to resource exhaustion or system compromise. All threat detections are aligned with industry frameworks like MITRE ATLAS and the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, providing enterprises with a transparent and auditable security posture.

Built-In Compliance and Data Sovereignty
Deployed directly within a customer’s Google Cloud environment, the solution ensures that sensitive data remains within governed infrastructure. This architecture supports compliance with global regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and the EU AI Act by enforcing consistent security policies across all AI interactions.

According to Sanjay Beri, CEO and Co-Founder of Netskope, the collaboration aims to help organizations adopt AI securely while maintaining high performance. Vineet Bhan from Google Cloud added that the partnership combines advanced AI infrastructure with enterprise-grade security to support trusted AI deployment.

With this launch, Netskope and Google Cloud are positioning themselves at the forefront of secure AI innovation, enabling enterprises to scale AI workloads confidently while maintaining strong governance, compliance, and performance.
