The new EMEA East Leadership to Drive Regional Growth and Data Resilience.
Veeam Software has announced key leadership promotions across its EMEA East region, reinforcing its focus on regional expansion, customer success, and technical excellence across the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Africa.
The new appointments aim to strengthen sales and pre-sales leadership while supporting enterprises in advancing their data resilience and cloud strategies.
Among the key promotions, Jawad Moghnieh has been named Regional Director for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, while Dan Popa will lead growth initiatives across Eastern Europe. In technical leadership, Islam Afifi has been elevated to Senior Regional Director for Sales Engineering, alongside regional roles for Ahmad AlSabbah in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and Mark Govender in Africa.
According to Mena Migally, the EMEA East region remains strategically important as organizations prioritize secure, resilient data infrastructure to enable AI adoption at scale. Tim Pfaelzer added that strong regional leadership is critical as businesses navigate the growing convergence of data, security, identity, and AI risk.
